Walking may be the simplest and most inexpensive form of exercise or activity because it requires no gadgets really. Well, except comfortable shoes. Comfortable walking shoes are a must, unless you want to end up with blisters on your feet or muscle pain. It is also important to determine your arch type or the alignment of the bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons in your feet You may not have noticed it but as you walk, these arches help distribute your body weight evenly across your feet These are like the suspension beam of your car, which adapt to various surfaces as it moves to limit impact or provide shock absorption. A fairly new type of running shoe that's been gaining popularity across many sports has been "barefoot shoes". It sounds like an oxymoron, but these special shoes are designed to fit naturally around your entire foot including the individual toes. The idea behind the design is to create a natural body awareness and range of motion between the ankles, feet, and toes as if you were running barefooted, thus the coined term, "barefooting". Another reason for cracked heels is obesity. When a person is overweight, the skin on the heel tends to expand sideways. In such a case if the skin is dry, the pressure causes the skin to crack. An accurate diagnosis is important because the underlying cause of cavus foot largely determines its future course. If the high arch is due to a neurologic disorder or other medical condition it is likely to progressively worsen. On the other hand, cases of cavus foot that do not result from neurologic disorders usually do not change in appearance. Some people with cavus foot may also experience foot drop, a weakness of the muscles in the foot and ankle that results in dragging the foot when taking a step. Foot drop is usually a sign of an underlying neurologic condition. One of the earliest signs of facial aging is the appearance of fine lines around the eyes (crows feet ) followed by noticeably sagging eyebrows which cover the upper eyelid. One feature of youthful beauty is a high arched eyebrow, but as the forehead sags and the eyebrow descends, the upper lid gets covered by a loose fold of skin. Lying on a leg curl machine, use your hamstrings and calves to pull the weights up towards your bum, making sure to avoid thrusting the weight up. At the top of the movement, point your toes and lower the weight, taking care to use only your hamstrings. Finally for the feet to be truly beautiful, the toes need to be long and straight along with very nice toe nails, and the toe nails need to be at least long enough so that when you look down at the toes they at least cover all the skin. ( I hate very short toe nails & I especially love the captain toe nail to be a little longer than the rest & painted red, pale pink, white or a French manicure is always very sexy!Furthermore the toes need to be flexible and wiggle easily.
